Hello mathematicians, puzzlers, and other curious people!

New classes will start soon on Outschool, after spring break, for levels from junior high to high school/early college. See below for the list, and if you need something else, such as different topics, different scheduling, or asynchronous classes, please let me know.

Full Curriculum Classes starting week of March 18

This term, full-curriculum classes are on Monday/Wednesday or Monday/Wednesday/Friday.

All Outschool classes are for flexible ages; ages in course description are only suggestions, based on averages. The Outschool platform is for learners age 3-18.

Times displayed here are US Central Standard/Daylight Time. The Outschool site shows times in your time zone when you’re logged in.

UPDATE: The times for Prealgebra and Precalculus have changed. Times below are accurate — if you have notes from before, those notes are out of date.

General Math: Area and Surface Area, 6 PM

Algebra: Sequences and Functions, 2 PM

Geometry: Transformations and Symmetry, 1 PM (M/W only)

Precalculus: Trigonometry: Introduction, 7 PM (M/W only)

Practice and Enrichment

Algebra 1.5 — Practice for people who have taken an algebra class. Conveniently scheduled at 1 PM Fridays for schedule compatibility for Geometry learners. Weekly ongoing class, join any time!

Algebra 0.5 — Similar structure to Algebra 1.5 but easier problems

Crochet a Tetrahedron — Explore geometry through crafts! March 20 and 27

People Playing with String — Relax, chat, and apply some math skills like measurement, through crafts. Weekly ongoing class, join any time!
